my first rotary meeting in japan was interesting and unlike the meetings I go to in the U.S. There are no female members, once a month the Rotarians wives are invited to attend which is why I was allowed to go as well. When the women come, they sit at a different table than the men. The meeting was rather short, mostly because I was the guest speaker and didn't really have much to say but after the meeting ended everyone ate dinner, let me tell you it was a feast. There are about 30ish Rotarians in my host club, everyone seemed very interesting in me and wanted to talk with me. I'm looking forward to going to the next meeting. :)
The first Course of our meal, by the second course I was so full I couldn't eat anymore, they really do keep me well fed here.
It's Tea I swear! (everyone kept joking how it looked like I was drinking)
