Ok, I got it
Not only is the Tokachi Reigon famous for its Milk, Butter, Cheese, Potatoes, Melon and Beer, It's also famous for it's wine. Is there anything Tokachi isn't famous for? maple syrup maybe?   Anyways yesterday evening after returning from Kitami Hatakeyama-papa called and invited me to go grape picking, my host mom told him I had too much studying to do for my tests and that I couldn't go. I told my host mom that I wanted to go and studying can wait until later, I'm in Japan, and I want to experience everything I can. I got up early this morning to be greated by a gloomy day, it was raining really hard, I wasn't sure if we'd still be going. We went to the Ikeda's wine castle anyways and got to take a tour of the wine factory, I have to say it smelt really good. After the tour we were surprised at how much the weather cleared up and we were able to go grape picking. I had a blast, it was definitely interesting. I got to try some of the grapes and they were delicious, they even gave me a few to take home for me and my host family to share. I sadly didn't get to try any of the wine, but Hatakeyama-papa told me that when I come back with my parents he'll take me again and I'll be able to drink the wine.
