The final day of the Kitami orientation was a bit sad, I won't be seeing mark again until February, in Sapporo. Veronica is Returning to Moldova at the end of this week, and who knows when I'll get to see her next. The day started out a big slow, I got up early, got ready and ate breakfast at the hotel then left with Hatakeyama-papa to go to a speech being given by the voice actress of Doraemon, A famous cartoon character. It was rather boring, she was talking about water, I couldn't follow her and I fought to stay awake. Many of the Rotarians fell asleep as well (I think it was just because of their hangovers though). After That I met up with mark and veronica and we went off to explore Kitami on our own. We found some english on a sign that was spelt wrong and couldn't miss the opportunity to take a picture. We ended up going to a Deparment store and exploring. We took some print clubs and then went to a Panya (bread shop) I bought some cheesecake and a chocolate muffin. We headed back to the orientation site for the closing ceremony. Veronica and I said our goodbyes to Mark, which included a big hug (yeah I know thats not very japanese ;) ) and then Veronica and I went home together with Mr. Sannomiya. On the way home we went to the Onsen! Boy did it feel good, we were a bit embarrassed at first but we got used to all the naked people around us. Obviously I couldn't take many pictures so I am just posting the one picture I do have on this page. After the Onsen we headed home, veronica and I slept in the car, when we got to my house I gave veronica and big hug and wished her luck on her journey home and told her to enjoy Tokyo and Kyoto. I was sad to see her go, even though we've only known each other for two weeks I think we became pretty close. I hope I'll see her again!
