I'm not sure of the true name of the festival, but I will call it mini matsuri. Mini because it was small, but I still enjoyed myself. Here are the pictures and some videos, My pictures didn't turn out that great because of how cloudy it was but at least it wasn't rainy in the afternoon like it was in the morning anyways, Enjoy :)
Japanese Traditional Archery, I thought it was pretty cool, The Last guy got a bullseye, I'm sure you could tell by the sound the arrow made though. It was quite amazing to watch.
Isn't her Kimono Pretty? This lady is singing a Japanese Traditional Song, The music type I think is called Enka. Although I'm not 100% sure, It's unique sounding isn't it?
This is where my host parents were married. I prayed at the shrine as well, maybe I'll get married there someday ;)
It's been a while since I've had a corn dog, and I don't think I've ever had sugar on one before....it was delicious though
I thought this clock looked cool, and it plays music on the hour too, it's very pretty sounding.
Okaasan and Otousan, it took me a while to convince them to take a picture, but they finally relented ;)
Otofuke, and Obihiro, and the Tokachi bridge that connects the two
Isn't this cool? I can't believe I spotted this heart on the leaf when I was just walking by.
Entrance/ Exit to the shrine, I took this as we were leaving so I guess this is the exit side
This is at my host Dad's company. There was a truck that drove around to different places in Otofuke and the kids would perform Traditional Japanese Dances, This little girl with the umbrella is 3 years old. She was so cute, I took some videos but they ended up being too big to upload, I may try at a later time if I remember
