Known as the old capital of Japan! Anyone who goes to Japan and doesn't visit Kyoto is really missing out. I was the only one in my group who has been to Kyoto before, which was kind of Ironic. We went to a few temples, most of which don't allow photographs so you'll just have to come visit to see them. After the temples we shopped till we dropped literally. Boy was I tired. We took a break from shopping and got transformed into Maiko (apprentice Geisha). Then Returned to shopping :).
